Behind Elilta Events is its founder, Ruth Gebrehiwet, whose passion for hospitality is deeply rooted in her Eritrean culture. In Eritrean tradition, hospitality is a way of life—guests are welcomed with warmth, generosity, and care. Growing up surrounded by family gatherings and community celebrations, Ruth learned early that true hospitality is about making people feel seen, valued, and comfortable.
As she entered the events industry, Ruth noticed that while events could be visually impressive, genuine care and professionalism were often missing. She founded Elilta Events to bring that heart back into the industry—creating joyful experiences grounded in respect, cultural values, and excellence in service. We believe in transparent pricing and clear expectations. We believe professionalism matters—on and off the event floor.
